@disneyjr just recently aired Pupstruction’s season one finale 🥹 so I figured maybe now’s a good time to start sharing some work I made for the show.

I got to see Hadestown again recently with new cast and new leads @jordanfisher and @_solaylay and was brought to tears so. many. times. 🥀

Nighttime drawing session 🌆 Usually when I feel artblock (or that other one... burnout 🥲) I start a slow sketch like this. It doesn’t always help me feel less tired lol, but the change of pace is a nice reset, and I usually get my motivation back this way. Been doing a lot of line art stuff for work lately, so it feels nice to unwind with this 😌

#artvsartist2021 ✨ this year was interesting! I finally switched careers and started working fulltime in visual development (I can’t wait to share more about this one day; but rn it involves two big companies I love, and some really talented people). I got to work with talented writers, illustrating cover art and sequential art. My work got published 🥲 and was up at New York Comic Con 🥲 I’m illustrating another comic and an indie tabletop game. I’m narrowing down what my art style might be (this only came about after constant drawing), and want to focus on having a more consistent body of work. There’s so much I want to share but that opportunity will come in its own time. Excited! #artvsartist

Its funny, I remember that drawing being my first favorite digital artwork I ever created.

Fast forward and the newest campaign installment launched this week, a tv series is in the works, and I’m sharing my second ever drawing of this character 😅 I love these games. I love the heavy lore. I love that there are books and fanfics written about this world. I wanted to go all out with some different techniques on this one; a mash up of cell-shading, mono-lines, saturated overlays. It felt right to make this tribute an experiment! I also listened to a whole bunch of heartbreak music to channel this haha (I MEAN, at their core, these characters have some tragic stories)
